Jim Beam “WHAT A BURGER”

This recipe is also excellent for ground turkey, chicken breast or tuna steak. If using chicken or tuna, allow the meat to marinate in the onion/mushroom mixture for an hour before grilling.

Ingredients
2 lbs Ground sirloin
1 large Onion, coarsely chopped
8oz Mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
4oz Jim Beam Original Marinade
2oz Jim Beam Steak Sauce
Dash Jim Beam Hot Sauce (optional)
8 slices Jim Beam Backyard Buns (Recipe in Appetizers)

Directions
- Cook the oil, onion, mushrooms, marinade, steak sauce and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally
- When the onions become translucent, mix 4 tablespoons of the liquid into the burger meat and form into patties
- Grill over indirect heat according to BBQ 101
- When the burgers are done, place them on a “backyard bun”, smother with the onion and mushroom mixture and enjoy the best burger you’ve ever eaten
