BBQ Fish and Chips

Marinate Catfish in Jim Beam Original Marinade then dredge, batter and fry. Serve with French fries seasoned with Jim Beam Barbecue Rub.

Ingredients
2 each Catfish filets
1 cup Flour
3/4 cup Beer
1 ea Egg
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 oz Vodka
1 tsp Salt
2 each Potatoes
1/2 cup Jim Beam Original Marinade

Directions
- Cut filets into 1/2 inch strips and marinate in Jim Beam Original Marinade for 1-2 hours.
- Cut potatoes into 1/2” x 1/2” x 3” sticks leaving skin on. Fry in 200°F oil until soft. Cool down on paper towels.
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Add beer, egg, and vodka and whisk to combine.
- Batter the catfish filets and fry in 350°F oil until batter is deep golden brown and crispy.
- Fry potatoes again in 350°F oil until browned and crispy.
- Season filets and potatoes in salt and serve.
