Tequila Sunrise Chicken and Rice

Tequila Sunrise Chicken and Rice

Marinated chicken breast in a sweet glaze that will pair perfectly with the acidity of lime. Serve with Mexican rice and garnish with a lime wedge!

4 ea Chicken Breast, 8 oz, boneless, skinless
12 oz. 7up Marinade
4 oz. All Purpose Flour
4 oz. Honey
2 cups Mexican rice, cooked
4 ea Lime, wedges


  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in the Sauza Tequila Sunrise Marinade for at least 2 hours.  
  2. Remove the breasts from marinade, reserving the marinade
  3. Dredge the breasts in flour and sear until golden brown. Take 8 oz of the reserved marinade and add to the honey. Pour or brush this mixture over the breasts and finish in a 350°F oven or under broiler until glaze is bubbly and browning.
  4. Slice the breasts on a diagonal into 5 or 6 pieces each and serve over hot, cooked, Mexican rice with a lime wedge to garnish.
