Recipes - Honey Nut Squash

Made with: Virginia Brand Pure Clover Honey

2 acorn squash (about 6 ounces each)
¼ cup Virginia Brand Pure Clover Honey
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons chopped nuts
2 tablespoons chopped raisins
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  1. Cut acorn squash in half lengthwise; do not remove seeds.
  2. Place cut sides up in baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30-45 minutes or until soft.
  3. Remove seeds and fibers.
  4. Combine honey, butter, nuts, raisins, and Worcestershire sauce; spoon into squash.
  5. Bake 10-15 minutes more or until lightly glazed.
