Recipes - No Bake Candy

Made with: Virginia Brand Pure Clover Honey

1/2 cup Virginia Brand Honey
3 cups sugar
2/3 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
(Optional) food coloring

Stir together honey, sugar, water and salt.
Microwave for 17 minutes without stirring (will become a hard ball).
Slowly pour mixture into beaten egg whites. (The heat form the microwave mixture is enough to kill any egg white food pathogens).
Beat until it loses it's shine and begins to hold shape.
Add nuts and food coloring while beating mixture.
Drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper.

(Makes 3 dozen candies.)
